What If I’m a Russian Spy
Written by DumbDumb on July 19, 2010 – 11:30 pm -Lots of “What If” could be achieved if I were a Russian spy.
To name a few;
#1 sneak into the headquarters of Steamyx and secretly upgrade the current broadband package that I’m subscribing to better package
#2 Kidnap all Domo-kuns in the world and present them to the girlfriend as she was once called “Domonapper” by her friend. (I secretly think she loves Domo more than me)
#3 To learn the arts of creating the world’s best ice cream in order to produce delicious ice creams so that the girlfriend will have unlimited access of them whenever she’s upset.
Anyways, those are only some of the minor things I could achieve if I were a Russian spy. Being a spy, of course, means that one is given great responsibilities at almost all times.
I think that the most important task that will be entrusted by Mother Russia to me would be making sure of myself to be invited to the screening of Salt by Nuffnang.
Sounds like an easy task but…. do not judge a mission by its complexities.
So, how am I going to achieve this mission impossible?
#1 Sits in front of computer
#2 Drafts out blog entry for this contest to win passes to premiere screening of Salt
#3 Thinks that the entry is lousy hence re-writes it
#4 Repeats step 2 – 3 until late night
#5 Decides to post the final entry (which is this) and starts praying
Tickets please before the gf kills me?

My Date Night
Written by A-lex on March 29, 2010 – 1:38 am -It was her birthday that day. Prior to the birthday celebration, I ordered a bouquet of flowers online to be sent to her. On top of that, I told her I won’t be able to celebrate her big day with her when in fact, I’ve got plans all laid out perfectly for the special night
2 flower bouquets were sent to her; one during her working hour and another one when I went to fetch her from her place.
But the suprise didn’t stop there. I asked a few friends for some help, in terms of borrowing a nice place to dine in, to prepare the cuisine for the night, and to help me in the preparation of some surprises to her. *that’s what friend are for, I am glad I found them LOL*
She cried in tears the moment I appeared in front of her doorstep as she felt lonely because no one celebrated with her and she alone couldn’t make any plans for herself in such short notice. “I’ve reserved this day just for you and yet you told me you can’t be with me” – that was her reaction when I informed her of my busy schedule.
As planned, I drove her to my friend’s place and had a romantic dinner with her. Then, it was the time to present her of her present where I led her to the balcony, in which the present is a box container with a pink ribbon tied on it. With the present being hugged tightly, she kept bugging me if I could give her any hints of what the present was.
Anyhow, told her to open up the lid of the box and when she did it, huge sounds appeared across the house. Firework was on play. The box actually had a trigger inside to set off the fireworks.
It was satisfying indeed to see the smile on my girlfriend’s face alhtough there was quite a lot of hassle in preparing the surprises for her. Afterall, my efforts paid off well ;p
Here’s my memorable date, what’s yours?

Earth Hour 2010 : Battle of the Bands
Written by A-lex on March 26, 2010 – 2:55 pm -Any plan for tomorrow, No? Why not come to Sunway Pyramid? Sunway Pyramid will be supporting Earth Hour Malaysia for the second year in a row! The mall invites its surrounding community and beyond to the Main Entrance on 27 March 2010 starting 6.00pm.
Join the countdown as the ‘lights go out’ at 8.30pm sharp, for an hour. To those who turn up in support of this campaign, a limited edition glow-in-the-dark Sunway Earth Hour key chain will be given out, while stocks last.
There will be an Earth Hour ‘Pledge Wall’ by Tupperware at the Main Entrance of Sunway Pyramid. More than just a wall for signing words of encouragement and green resolutions, the wall serves as a reminder to the public to act against climate change in the long run.
For the music lover, wanna see some live band action? Do come as well as Battle of the Band is one of the main attractions of the night. End of the night, the winner will be decided so come and support your favorite band.

Broga not so easy Hill
Written by A-lex on March 24, 2010 – 7:06 pm -Finally got the chance to climb the so well known for its sunrise and sunset scene; Broga Hill two weeks ago. Since soooooooo many people climbed that hill before so I thought it must not be hard to climb. WRONG! It is not hard but isn’t easy as well. So at least be prepared before going, you might get hurt as well if you are not careful.
Was up there snapping photos but don’t have the luck to see a clear sunrise. But this is my favorite shot of that day.
P.S: vomited halfway due to the day before went drinking. LOL

On the music front, the first H-Artistry instalment of 2010 will feature an outstanding line-up of musical talents from Malaysia and Japan. Highlighting the party is Tokyo based DJ Sarasa (also known as Silverboombox) whose natural talent for music allows her to cater to any crowd, place and genre.
Joining her on the H-Artistry stage is local rock quartet, Bunkface whose catchy tunes coupled with their addictive energy and fun filled performances have captured the attention of everyone tuned in to the local music scene.
